Ann – Feb 2009I joined Club 50 after the 3rd year that my cholesterol inched higher. My doctor advised that I exercise 4 times a week for a half hour. However, I exercised for an hour 3-4 times a week and not only did my cholesterol get back to normal but I felt more energetic and lost some weight too. This was great since my high school reunion was coming up and I wanted to look "in shape.".

Resistance machines that we adjust to our settings, professional instructors to help our routines, a friendly atmosphere where we compare notes on mutual friends, families, retirement and where to have lunch. This physician owned facility is always clean and the equipment is constantly monitored for user safety. All of us 50+ "athletes" have seen the commercials for machines that promise to return us to a rock solid 18 but mostly those machines cost thousands and become expensive hangers for our laundry.
